Fødevarestyrelsen advarer forbrugerne mod en række kosttilskud, der indeholder farlige planteingredienser og kan give alvorlige bivirkninger ved indtagelse. Produkterne har kunnet købes hos en række alternative behandlere over hele landet.

Advarslen mod  farlige og ulovlige kinesiske urter, det drejer sig om følgende kinesiske urtemedicin/kosttilskud:

• Geng Nian An Pian
• Liu Wei Di Huang Pian
• Jin kui Shen Qi Pian
• Mingmu Dinhuang Wan
• Jingxin Menocare Essence

Farlige bivirkninger
Produkterne indeholder flere forskellige farlige planter, der kan give forskellige bivirkninger, som fx skader på centralnervesystemet samt hormonelle påvirkninger.

Forbrugere, der har købt nogle af disse produkter, opfordres til at smide dem ud eller levere dem tilbage til stedet, hvor de er købt. Forbrugere, der oplever bivirkninger, bør kontakte egen læge.

Hørsholm-firma importerede farlige kosttilskud
De ulovlige og farlige kosttilskud er importeret af virksomheden SinoDane i Hørsholm, der primært har solgt produkterne til alternative behandlere over hele landet, som har videresolgt produkterne i forbindelse med deres behandlingsaktiviteter.

Virksomheden har desuden markedsført ca. 125 andre kosttilskuds-produkter, som ikke har været registrerede, og dermed ikke har været underlagt fødevareregionens kontrol.

Virksomheden har fået påbud om tilbagetrækning af de farlige kosttilskud og alle ikke registrerede produkter er blevet beslaglagt af Kosttilskuds-gruppen fra Fødevarestyrelsen.
